Van comes from a career in international finance, where data only becomes meaningful when it is properly weighted within a larger construct. When he applied that framework to his health, he saw critical value in organizing his own medical information to see what matters most. Life Dash is his effort to bring that same precision analysis to individual health.

Melissa formerly worked in the philanthropic and international development sectors where she built organizations and partnerships from the ground up. Her desire to start Life Dash grew out of a need post-child birth to manage a range of health issues across multiple providers, all with their own platforms and standards.
